This stand was commissioned by famous violin pedagogue Ronda Cole of Washington, DC and was so well received that we decided to offer it as a model selection. It is a combination of two other stand models we offer. The desk, done in Birdseye Maple, is from our Gaillard stand and provides storage for pencils and electronics on the accessory shelf. The base and legs of the stand are from our Tulip model and is made entirely of Tiger Maple. The abundance of pristine figured maple and contemporary lines in Ms. Cole’s DC area home, once featured in Architectural Digest, demanded a dramatic stand presentation. We were quite pleased at her reaction upon receiving this stand.
